Welcome to Lovin' The Weekend Blog Hops with your co-hosts:

Thank you to every one who has stopped by, whether this is your first visit or you have been a faithful ongoing participant!

We would love for you to stop by each of the co-hosts and follow us, then feel free to add your links to any or all of the following linkies.

We also randomly choose a Featured host each week from the Lovin' The Readers linky. This week we are featuring Summer from  Under Construction.

Here's what she has to say:
"Under Construction is basically the thought and ramblings from a Camera toting stay at home mom of 3 & Pre-op WLS patient. I love cute sayings, Words of inspiration, new food ideas, DIY, Crafts, and linking up with other blogs I enjoy. I'm going to be having gastric bypass surgery soon so my recipes will consist of healthy foods that are WLS friendly as well as exercises and websites that I have found helpful plus words of inspiration and my thoughts and progress along the way. I hope everyone decides to stay an follow along with me as I improve my life and break the cycle of that I was supposed to be into  the Happy healthy life I have dreamed of making a reality."

Don't forget to link up to the Lovin' the Readers Hop if you would like a chance to be a Featured host next week. Please comment with a way to contact you, especially if there is not an obvious way mentioned on your blog. We would love to include a little write up about you and your blog in the next week's Lovin' The Weekend Blog Hop post, including a link to your blog. And you will get to include the linky codes on your blog. Sound fun? We're looking forward to getting to know our readers better.

Here's how this blog hop works. We would appreciate it if you would follow Tots and Me, Adventures of a Mommy Homemaker and An Ordinary Housewife then please head on over to our Featured Host and follow as well. If you no longer have GFC please follow in some other way. After that there are three different linkies you can link to. Whichever one you choose to link to, please grab that button and share it on your blog (the codes are on Tot's and Me's sidebar). We'd love it if you could tweet or in some other way share about this blog hop, the more people who know about it, the more potential visitors and new followers of your blog. We'd love to meet some new friends this weekend.

Some people are more interested in just increasing their numbers, while others really want people who appreciate their blog and want to keep up with their posts. So, there are two separate linkies. The third linky is for you to link up your giveaways.

If you are interested in increasing the number of followers to your blog via GFC, Linky Followers, email, Twitter, Facebook or Google+ link up here. We will follow you back if you follow us (just note which one you are linking to):

MHO Monday Mingle #3 SECRETS

mondaymingle

This Week's Theme: SECRETS

This Week's Questions:

1. Without giving to much info, what is the biggest secret you've ever kept?
I can keep secrets from others but I always tell James everything and he's like an unbreakable vault. One really good secret has to do with a terrible nasty thing I did to get back at someone for just being a stuck up, mean, nasty, rude person

2. Have you ever kept a secret from your Significant Other? Do you think he/she has kept any from you?
Like I said in question 1 I keep no secrets from James. I honestly don't think he has any he won't tell me. He believes in honestly no matter what, even if it is a little hurtful. I would much rather it that way that to wonder if there is anything he's not telling me.

3. Who is the first person you would automatically want to tell a secret to?
James and then Brandie who is my BFF after him.

4. Any secrets you want to get off your chest? Even if it's from the third grade, still counts.
None that I can think of right now.

5. Are you good at keeping secrets? Why or why not?
Yes I'm good at keeping secrets from anyone but James. why?? because we are honest about everything with each other. That way no one can pull the he said/ she said stuff on us.

M.L. 10 dumbest purchases

10 DUMBEST PURCHASES

1> THIGHMASTER

Absolutely the dumbest thing I have ever bought. Others may get something out of it but for me NO WAY! I gave it a real girl scout try and was never able to use it properly. My legs are to short for it, it springs out from between my knees, and It's even useless on my short arms.

2> RC MINIATURE HELICOPTER

Big mistake. Paid $60 for one for my oldest sons birthday. It went up and then down and it was game over. That thing didn't last 15 minutes.

3> CANDY CANE SHRIMP

We had such a beautiful saltwater tank and decided to add one of these little guys to the bunch. DUM DUM DUM DUM DUMBBB!! We also had a Lion fish (Leonitious) with a chip on his shoulder..lol. One little pinch for our $25 candy cane shrimp and Leonitios ended his life. Didn't even have him an hour..lol

4> Perfume from a flea market
I got fooled by the fake bottle. Paid $30 for a bottle of what was supposed to have been Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy.  Later while taking a closer look I realized it was a fake. Realized that day it's better to just go to Belks and buy my perfumes like I had done before.

5> Flashy camcorder from flea market
Yet another impulse buy. Looked flashy and it took a memory card so I knew it had to be worth it. WRONG!! It didn't even have a light, had only one setting, and it again was a brand I had never heard of. Didn't have it long though. James gave it to his brother who wanted it.

6> Buying a car from a cousin
won't go into detail. Just should have listened to my grandma when she told me to NEVER do business with family members. It turned out to be a very hurtful situation .

7>MY TWINN DOLL

I really hate even adding this one to the list but honestly it turned out to be a dumb buy. I saved up and Paid a little over $300 for this doll (plus matching outfits) she loved on for one day. The next day and still today she has been terrified of it (thanks to her little brother who claims he saw it move in the middle of the night) for years it has stayed packed away in the back of her closet and if she even sees me digging near it she takes off and won't return till I' done.

I honestly can't think of anything else and when I asked James if he could think of anything he simple said he puts that stuff behind him..lol. Gotta love that man of mine!

Sunday Social Awkward Years

Sunday Social

Lets talk about those awkward years:

1. Biggest Middle school fashion mistake?
I remember in 8th grade the pacifier phase where all the girls had pacifiers on all sorts of things. from dangling from their book bags to (like myself) I a necklace with one.

2. Who were your best friends in hs?
Cassy M., Kathy S., Heather S., Jennifer F., Jodie C., Nick H. Carrie S., OMGoodness and the list goes on........ I have to say I had more friends in the short time I attended HS than I have pictures but I do have a picture of 2 friends (Mary and Rhiannon in the back) I really
cherished.
 Pics?

3. What was a typical weekend like for you in hs?
I got a job the day I turned 16 so most of my evenings and weekends consisted of working and if I were off (since I didn't have a car and I had a strict mother) my time off was spent at home although I did get to run around with a few friends every now and then.

4. Did you have any boyfriends/girlfriends? Tell us about that
I had one boyfriend while in HS. His name was Johnny and I was crazy about this boy. My mother ended up sending me away to a place called job corps to keep me away from him because she did not approve. Our relationship faded away and I found new love in a guy they called Joe Joe. He was the first guy I had every "brought home to meet the family" that two didn't last. but that's a good thing in the long run because the lord works in mysterious ways and I'm glad he was looking out for me in that situation after finding out where that could have led.

5. Did you have any secret codes with your friends? Spill your
secrets!
I was either to lame or to cool for the code thing. The only secrets we had where the ones I kept from my mother. Nothing harmful or bad it was just she never let me do anything so if I didn't keep the secrets I wouldn't have been able to go.

6. If you could relive one day/moment/experience from middle school or high school, what would it be?
I can't really go into detail because I am still ashamed for what I did and believe me my mother had no problem embarrassing me over it but I would love to go back and relive/change my 6th grade trip to the Baltimore house.
